Production Process

1. The bitumen is heated by transfer oil through a heat exchanger to 180-190°C.

2. The bitumen enter the mixing tank after passing through the flow meter.

3. The polymer passes through the metering bin. After accurate metering, it enters the mixing tank and is mixed with asphalt.

4. The mixture of asphalt and polymer passes through the pump and enters the colloid mill.

6. After being ground by the colloid mill, the asphalt mixture enters the development tank. After 2 hours of development in the tank, the polymer modified asphalt is.

The JMJ colloid mill is developed by our company by introducing international advanced technology. It is a new type of high-efficiency ultra-fine mill that combines strong extrusion and high-speed shearing. It is mainly used to highly refine and homogenize polymers added to molten asphalt.

JMJ type colloid mill, the imported spiral rotates at high speed to feed the asphalt mixture into the gap between the stator and the rotor. After high-speed grinding of the stator and rotor, intense shearing is performed to achieve a high degree of refinement of the polymer. The JMJ colloid mill adopts a cross-stepped distribution of grinding and shearing. The gaps are getting smaller and smaller, and the fineness of the polymer can reach 1~10μm in one processing.

The flat tooth structure design of the stator and rotor of the JMJ colloid mill not only has simple processing technology, is safe to use, has high operating accuracy, but also has a large flow rate.


Precise air control asphalt temperature system

The system forms a closed-loop PID control system through the above three components, which can accurately control the asphalt temperature rise.



1.The polymer is statically weighed, and the added amount is accurate to ensure the quality of the PMB.

2. The bitumen supply is measured by a variable frequency pump speed controlled flow meter, this setting allows the PMB plant to reduce production when heat supply is insufficient.

3. Bitumen heating uses a large-capacity heat exchanger and electronic temperature control to adapt to the ambient temperatures in different regions.

4. Both the host machine and the reactor unit adopt container structure, which is convenient for supporting, high productivity and easy to move.

5. Special rubber asphalt pump greatly improves the reliability of the plant. PMB and CRMB plant both in one.

6. PLC + program controller realizes manual/automatic control, which is convenient, safe and reliable, and the human-machine dialogue interface makes the control more humane

7. The use of international brand electrical components such as Siemens and Schneider greatly improves versatility and reliability.
